Grenergy avanza en su apuesta por la hibridaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda solar y almacenamiento, y firma un contrato de venta de energ\u00eda verde a largo plazo \u2013 PPA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s \u2013 con la Corporaci\u00f3n Nacional del Cobre de Chile, Codelco, por un periodo de 15 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
A partir de enero de 2026, GR Power, filial de comercializaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda de Grenergy en Chile, suministrar\u00e1 0,5 TWh de energ\u00eda verde al a\u00f1o a la compa\u00f1\u00eda minera estatal chilena, la mayor productora de cobre del mundo que cuenta con calificaci\u00f3n investment-grade. Este acuerdo garantiza suministro ininterrumpido las 24 horas, los siete d\u00edas de la semana.<\/p>\n
La energ\u00eda provendr\u00e1 de la plataforma que Grenergy est\u00e1 desarrollando en el centro de Chile y que comprende diversos proyectos h\u00edbridos para poder suministrar las 24 horas del d\u00eda, entre ellos la planta de Monte \u00c1guila, de 340 MW y con un sistema de almacenamiento BESS.<\/p>\n
Con m\u00e1s de 12 a\u00f1os en Chile, Grenergy lidera la construcci\u00f3n de plantas de energ\u00eda limpia en el pa\u00eds con cerca de 100 proyectos realizados. Ahora cuenta con una plataforma con 4,6 GW de energ\u00eda solar y 18,3 GWh de almacenamiento.<\/p>\n
Este nuevo acuerdo se suma a los numerosos contratos de compraventa de energ\u00eda a largo plazo que la compa\u00f1\u00eda ha suscrito, como el firmado para el proyecto Oasis de Atacama. Este proyecto, considerado uno de los m\u00e1s grandes del mundo, cuenta con una capacidad de almacenamiento de 11 GWh y una capacidad de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda solar fotovoltaica de 2 GW.<\/p>\n
Este contrato representa un hito significativo para Grenergy, no s\u00f3lo por la magnitud del acuerdo, sino porque pone de manifiesto nuestra capacidad de ofrecer energ\u00eda limpia y altamente competitiva durante las 24 horas del d\u00eda, los 7 d\u00edas de la semana a grandes offtakers como Codelco.
