An I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) is a document that certifies that a specific amount of electricity has been generated from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, or biomass. Each certificate represents 1 MWh (megawatt-hour) of renewable energy produced and injected into the power grid.

Our certificates
Renewable attributes are certificates that verify that a certain amount of energy was generated from renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, or geothermal. This allows companies to demonstrate that their energy consumption comes from renewable sources. To register these certificates, the RENOVA platform of the National Electric Coordinator is used, which enables the registration, certification, transfer, and retirement of renewable attributes generated in Chile.
